Dear Editor;
By now everyone, including pork-knockers deep in the hinterland should be aware of the stirring speech by Mrs. MelaniaTrump at the Republican convention. The BBC has a wonderful split screen of both Michelle and Melania during their “twin” speeches. It’s not just one sentence being a mirror of Michelle’s speech given eight years ago at a similar event. Word for word, Melania repeated Michelle’s speech and could not have done a better job had she been an actress playing the part of the First Lady and reenacting that speech.
In a way, I’m kind of sorry for Melania. She is just not cut out for this sort of thing. Now she’s shoved into this role because her narcissistic buffoon of a husband fancies himself the only living being capable of running the U.S. with hot air. Given Michelle Obama is much more intellectually equipped to produce a speech than Melania is; how was the latter supposed to come up with a speech for such an event? Do prospective First Ladies have writers? Isn’t someone supposed to write, assist or at least vet the speech before it is rolled out for public consumption?
It’s hard for one to believe Melania simply grabbed a speech from the internet, got dressed and trotted out there before the microphone and passionately regurgitated said speech at the convention without someone reviewing it. Or, were the Obamas so despised by the Republicans that the latter don’t even bother to listen to their speeches. Could it be that whoever reviewed Melania’s speech had no idea it was the property of Michelle Obama?
Donald Trump and his Republican buddies were no doubt very impressed with Melania’s speech. Had they put a microphone before him Mr. Trump would have declared it was the best speech ever. Of course, when the original was delivered by Mrs. Obama they were critical of it. And speaking of similarities, for those of us in the know who have ever had the unpleasant experience of trying to buy a used car from one of those shady lesser known car lots, isn’t there an uncanny similarity between the sleazy fast-talking used-car salesman, and Mr. Trump?

Malcolm, the answer to your question would be the Hair-Do !
Most shady used-car salesman use Lithium Multi Purpose Lithium Grease to slick their hair while ‘The Donald” uses Industrial Strength Silicone spray Lubricant.
