One of de reason dem boys don’t go to a place of worship is because of some people who does head dem place of worship. Nuff of dem more sinful that de devil, and dem boys ain’t talking bout Jagdeo alone.
He never go nor try to tun a religious leader. He made a lot of scamps out of ee followers, including some of dem councilors at City Hall.
Tek de Park King who is de Town Clerk. He is a pastor but he doing some things that de devil never even try. He forget wha he learn and wha he does preach in church.
De good book seh love thy neighbour as thyself. He who loves himself loves his neighbour. De Deputy Mayor is ee neighbour and de Mayor is ee neighbour. He love de Mayor because she is a woman but he don’t love de Deputy Mayor who is a man.
Dem boys seh both de Mayor and de Town Clerk old enough to know right from wrang; and that no one should be spiteful, especially when he talking de truth.
Dem boys know de Deputy Mayor talk ee mind which is de truth about de parking meter deal. From de time he do that he riding bicycle, not a ten-speed or a BMX. He had to ride a Big Ben.
Everybody else driving a council car, including Pastor Town Clerk, de City Engineer, de Mayor, de Chief Constable, and dem other big ones in de council.
De Mayor and de Town Clerk old enough to know that if dem sign off something then de person must get it. Every month dem sign off de $20,000 telephone money and de $20,000 office money fuh de Deputy Mayor, but since All Fools Day de poor boy never get it.
When is this old enough to know better, do better suppose to kick in?
