Stag/Derrick Josiah Memorial KO…Den Amstel to clash with Pouderoyen in Sunday’s final

Memorial / West Demerara Football Association knockout competition on Sunday.
Earning the right to contest the championship match, which has at stake $200,000 for the winner, are Den Amstel and Poudeyen. Den Amstel earned their place compliments of a 2-0 over Uitvlugt Warriors on Saturday last at the Den Amstel Community Centre Ground.
The home team made light work of the visitors with goals coming off the boots of Gavin Graham and Kevon Ward.
Pouderoyen, which had qualified for the final since last year played a friendly match against Eagles United which ended in an exciting 3-3 draw.
Admission to Sunday’s final is $1000.
