Dominoes players will be in action this weekend when the Deon Carter tournament commences on Sunday at Faye Joseph residence, Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.
27 teams are expected to vie for supremacy with the winning team taking home a trophy and $150,000, the runner up a trophy and $75,000 and third place a trophy and $40,000. Entrance fee is $10,000 and double six time is 14:00 hrs.
Meanwhile, Timothy Fisher of Serenity Restaurant and bar recently presented the runner up prize to secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association Barbara Marshall at a simple ceremony held at Gaulding Place South Ruimveldt. He said that they are pleased to be associated with the sport and wished the teams well.
