Uroy Chapel, the man who chopped his nephew-in-law behind his neck,on Friday, at his Adventure, Essequibo home, remains

in police custody at the Suddie Police station. The weapon Chapel used to chop his nephew-in-law was also recovered.
Chapel even admitted to the chopping and told the police he is unsure why he chopped his nephew-in-law.
Delroy Stephens, the victim, is hospitalized at the Suddie Public Hospital. He was admitted Friday morning.
According to Stephens, he was sitting in the living room at a house at Adventure Village when Chapel joined him. Stephens said Chapel proceeded to sit in a hammock in the hall.
There was a brief conversation after which, as Stephens was walking down the stairs, Chapel armed himself with a chopper and assaulted him. Stephens said he called for his cousin, Andel, who transported him to the Suddie Police Station.
He was later admitted a patient at the Suddie Public Hospital. Stephens said that he is at a loss over the chopping.
