(Kaieteur News) – Three men have been charged in the 9th June, 2026 killing of Robert Noble, police said in a release on Wednesday.
Raymond Corroll, called “Kunga Joe,” a 64-year-old businessman of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden; Tyrone Phillips, called “Wormey,” a 63-year-old gold miner of Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara; and Rafeek Shan Austin, called “Shan,” a 34-year-old gold miner of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, have been charged with murder, contrary to common law.

The men allegedly killed Noble, called “Curry,” at Honey Camp Landing, Middle Mazaruni River.
The accused appeared on Tuesday, 16th June, 2026, at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before His Worship Teriq Mohamed, where the charge was read to them. They were not required to plead and were remanded to prison.
The matter has been adjourned to 31st July, 2026, for continuation.
