A 31-year-old farmer, who toiled day and night to maintain his wife and two daughters, on Wednesday, almost “dropped to the floor” as he instantly became a winner of $3M through the Courts Vault promotion.

The farmer, Deonauth Deodat, of North Plantation, East Bank Essequibo, chose vault #3 as his lucky vault but was eventually persuaded by the crowd and switched to Vault# 5. The switch made him dance when he discovered he won $3M.
The farmer said that he purchased a freezer from the furniture giant for the first time and was named as a “winner”. When asked what he plans to do with the $3M, Deodat stated that he intends to invest his money- buy more lands to expand his farming business.
According to Clyde de Haas, Managing Director for Courts, it was the first time the winner listened to the audience and switched vault, which was indeed a “great moved made, and allowed the winner to walk away with the highest amount of cash offered by the company.”
Andrew Weekes from Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo also walked away with $2M worth of items to furnish his kitchen, dining and living room set, from a Dream Makeover promotion.
According to Courts officials, the Courts vault and the Whirpool Dream Makeover Promotion is a way of giving back to the public for their loyal services.
