Relatives found the decomposing body of Sewnarine Deonarine, 45, who according to media reports, killed his wife, Tessa Romascindo, last week at Rasta Town’ Laluni, off the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
Kaieteur News understands that relatives were continuing their search for the man yesterday morning.
The body was found in a clump of bushes about one mile from where the murder occurred last week Tuesday.
Relatives had told this publication that Deonarine had told them that he had ingested a poisonous substance before leaving the home.
Following the discovery of the body, undertakers from the Lyken Funeral Parlour were called in.

A postmortem examination is expected to be done on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, September 13, last, Romascindo was chopped to death at her home, in ‘Rasta Town’ Laluni, off the Soesdyke-Linden Highway. Around 10:30 hours one of the woman’s six children received a call from her father saying that her mother was dead and that he had ingested poison.
The young lady in the company of other relatives rushed to the house where they followed a trail of blood in the yard which led them to Romascindo’s lifeless body. The man was nowhere to be found. The couple had six children together.
Please dont bury him next to her. He tormented her enough already.
He now has to answer his maker.
