Milo Under-23 Football Tournament
Riddim Squad, Sunburst Camptown and Santos were the latest teams to register wins as play in the Milo Under-23 Football Tournament, which is being organised by Fruta Conquerors FC, continued on Tuesday, at the Tucville ground.
Teon Jones (25th, 78th) netted a brace, while Amos Ramsay (60th) supported with a single strike in Riddim Squad’s 3-1 triumph over GFC whose lone response came off the boots of Cardel Tudor.
Sunburst Camptown then inflicted a 3-1 win over Northern Rangers with Adrian Adonis (20th), Leroy Griffith (30th) and Darrel Fraser (55th), being the players on target for the winners, while Gavin Bobb responded in the (65th) for Northern Rangers who’re yet to record a victory.
Santos led by a pair each from William Europe (8th and 67th) and Lerone Charles (50th and 68th) and a solitary strike from Edward Austin (70th) blanked Beacons 5-0.
The Competition continued last evening with another triple-header at the same venue.
Starting at 17:00 hrs, University of Guyana was scheduled to tackle Police and that was to be followed by the clash between Flamingo and GFC from 19:00 hrs, while the feature game was between Santos and Charlestown United from 21:00 hrs.
