Karel Mars receives part sponsorship from Buddies Gym & Prem’s Electrical
As efforts continue to ensure that Guyana’s three-member team attend and compete successfully at the 9th Annual IPF/NAPF North American Regional Powerlifting Championships in Miami, Florida, USA continues, two corporate entities have chipped in with support.
Yesterday, Buddies Gym and Prem’s Electrical contributed towards the expenses of Karel Mars who will be in competition in the 105kg category against 7 other lifters including two each from Trinidad and Tobago and the USA.
Mars’ division is one of the hottest as compared to top female lifter Dawn Barker and the other team member, Kenneth Melville.
All the athletes stand a good chance of topping their respective categories and are looking forward to the support of corporate Guyana to ensure they continue to keep the Golden Arrowhead flying.
