Chatterpaul elected as Bartica Cricket Committee Chairman
Budesh Chatterpaul was elected Chairman of the Bartica Cricket Committee when the body held its Annual General meeting recently in Bartica.
Anthony Murray is the Vice Chairman while Sastri Mangal was elected Secretary. The Treasurer is Sashkumar Oberindernauth and Arvindra Ramdial is the Assistant Secretary Treasurer.
Troy Harper was elected as the Public Relations Officer and the Committee Members are Robin Narine, Mark Smith and Ayube DeFreitas.
Chatterpaul told Kaieteur sport that his committee will work towards the development of cricket in Bartica. He said that among their first projects are to develop the Secondary School and Mongrappa grounds. (Zaheer Mohamed)
