Jagdeo inspects work on National Stadium tarmac

President Bharrat Jagdeo inspected the ongoing works on the National Stadium tarmac Tuesday during his scheduled visit to the National Schools’ Championships where he was expected to be among the presenters with the featured address.
Jagdeo took the opportunity to inspect the area that is being covered with asphalt that is usually used as the Stadium’s Parking Lot since the allocation of the open space to sport associations to use a multi-purpose sports facility when available.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. Frank Anthony had indicated in the media that parking area when completely asphalted will be used to host other sport disciplines. He had said that they at the ministry will be informing the sport associations.
