Guyana left Puerto Rico winless but proud at Central American C/ship 1973

Although Guyana deplaned San Juan winless after their second outing at the prestigious Central American Basketball Championship the Parade Ground ballers demonstrated to the world that the Land of Many Waters were no push over although they suffered because of height differences against most of their opponents. Skipper Mike Brusche and his troupes had fans on their feet every time the Parade Ground stars contested a match.
The Land of Many Waters were ignominious in defeated by (Mexico) Cuba, Puerto Rico and Panama but was highly competitive against Venezuela, the US Virgin a game they threw away and Dominican Republic.
