Georgetown Cricket Club elects new executive body

Lionel Jaikarran was unanimously elected as President of the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) when that entity held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Club’s headquarters, Shivnarine Chanderpaul Street and Regent Road Bourda, Monday evening last.
Ramsay Ali earned the nod as Vice President while Jameel Baksh was voted in as the Secretary. Ramesh Seebarran was elected as the treasurer while Deodat Singh, Glen Hanoman and Eon Caesar are the committee members.  Phillip Fernandes is the club captain. Former President, Paul Chan-a-Sue did not seek reelection for the position but was eventually elected as a ballot committee member.
