Robbery accused must post $170,000 bail
Haim Nauth, also known as “Fine Man”, of Lot 3 Shell Road and Alexander Street, Kitty, yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on a charge of larceny from the dwelling house.
It is alleged that the accused on Monday, at North Sophia, stole six gold rings belonging to Gaitri Mahadeo and on the same day stole $10,000 from Anthony Ramkarran.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The Magistrate placed the accused on bail $170,000 and ordered that he return to court on March 11.
