(Kaieteur News) – Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony on Tuesday joined regional and health officials of Region One, for the commissioning of two new health posts at Wanakai and Tobago Villages.
Kaieteur News understands that this is Wanakai’s first ever health post marking major step forward in improving access to healthcare services for residents of Wanakai and surrounding areas.
Together, Tobago and Wanaki Health Posts will bring improved access to essential medical services and strengthening healthcare delivery in the communities.

Dr. Anthony on numerous occasions, noted that the government has been constructing health centres and posts across the country to complement the regional hospitals and ensure modern facilities for healthcare workers across the regions.
