(Kaieteur News) – The Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) has issued a notice reminding all mining property holders or duly authorised representatives to submit detailed information on tributors operating on their properties.
In the notice dated January 7, GGMC said the requirement is in accordance with Mining Regulation 143 (14), which obliges property holders to provide the Commission with a list of all tributors who have entered into agreements to work on their mining properties.
According to the notice, the submission must include the name of the registered equipment owner, the equipment registration number, the date of commencement of the agreement, and the relevant property number. The commission explained that the information is necessary to facilitate the renewal of licences for registered mining equipment.
