Eight Guyanese nabbed in US ‘Worst of the Worst’ raid
(Kaieteur News) – Eight Guyanese men have been arrested by US authorities in a crackdown, codenamed Worst of the Worst.
According to a statement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the worst of worst criminal aliens were arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The department said under Secretary Kristi Noem’s leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens.

Mohamed Yusuf
Among the Guyanese arrested is Kwesi Menezes who is convicted of aggravated assault. He was arrested in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Another Guyanese arrested is Dwayne Waithe who is listed as convicted of possession of weapon, illegal reentry and drug trafficking. Waithe was arrested in New York. Also listed is Mohamed Yusuf who is convicted of: prostitution, commercial sex. He was arrested in Albany, New York.

Harrinarine Ramkissoon
Deon Watson
Convicted of kidnapping, robbery and cruelty toward a child, Guyanese Rakesh Persaud was also arrested in Springfield Gardens, New York. Also on the list is Ronald Doodnauth convicted of aggravated assault, cruelty toward a child, assault and burglary. He was arrested in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, Harinarine Ramkissoon who has been convicted of homicide and driving under influence liquor was arrested in Alden, New York. Deon Watson was also arrested in East Orange, New Jersey. He has been convicted of sex offense against child-fondling.
Vickram Moses
The final Guyanese on the list is Vickram Moses who is convicted of assault and was arrested in Queens, New York.
