Questions for Pres. Ali, political parties on US military presence

Dear Editor,

Would the President of Guyana and all parliamentary political parties including the ruling PPPC party answer the following questions:

Do you believe that an announcement of the closure of Venezuelan air space is an attack on Venezuelan sovereignty and territorial integrity?
Do you believe that the killings of 83 persons over the past two months on small boats in the Caribbean waters and international waters off the Caribbean and South America are justified or do you believe that these are in fact extra judicial killings under international law?
If you believe that the killing of 83 persons by US military force is justified, would you agree that any other major military power be it from the United Kingdom or the EU, would also be justified in ordering military strikes on ‘narco- terrorists’ in Caribbean and South American waters since the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC) data shows that most of the cocaine flows are in fact being routed to Europe and not the US?
Do you believe that regime change in Venezuela as being threatened by the President of the US is a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela?
Do you believe that the military presence in the Caribbean is the biggest threat to the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace or do you believe this enhances the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace?
Do you believe that US military strikes on the Venezuelan mainland will or will not destabilize Guyana and the Caribbean or will or will not jeopardize the safety and security of Guyanese and Caribbean peoples?
Have you asked for commitments from the relevant US military and political representatives to stop military strikes in or near to Caribbean waters, to refrain from direct military attacks on Venezuela and as to when US military presence intends to leave the southern Caribbean and Latin American region?

And final 2 questions for His Excellency President Ali

Do you believe, Your Excellency President Ali, as in your address to the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on 24 September that current US military actions like similar Venezuela’s aggression towards Guyana are flagrant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the very principles that sustain global order?
Do you believe Your Excellency President Ali, that the same applies to Venezuela currently as mentioned in your address at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly that “If the rights of a small State can be trampled upon … what protection remains for any nation under international law? as the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference are not negotiable.”?

MURDERS ARE MURDERS. There is no other words for the killings in the
Caribbean Sea of alleged drug smugglers.
Extra Judicial killings, without arrest, trials in a court of law because One Man
decides so, is in simple words, actions- MURDER.
Our Laws don’t sanction such action by our Military.
