Kaieteur Sports – Latest results in the ongoing Anil Lalsa Second Division 40 Overs cricket Tournament show that Rose Hall Tigers defeated the University Of Guyana (UG) at the Jai Hind Ground by 65 runs.
UG won the toss and sent the Tigers in to bat in a rain affected encounter which was reduced to 20 overs aside.
Rose Hall Tigers racked up 217 for 8 in their allotment of overs with L. Arthur 53 and B. Baldeo 44 the principal scorers.
In reply UG were dismissed for 142 with M. Jackman scoring 39.
Bowling for Rose Hall Tigers R. Narine and L. Arthur picked up three wickets each.
The tournament was set to continue Sunday with two matches. (Samuel Whyte)
