GSA serves up Trophy Stall skill-level squash tournament and Fundraiser BBQ
Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Squash Association (GSA) is set to host its much-anticipated Trophy Stall Skill-Level Squash Tournament, a six-day showcase of local squash talent, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
The event, generously sponsored by Trophy Stall, will run from Tuesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 9, featuring approximately 40 players across a wide range of skill levels.

The tournament will serve as both a competitive platform and a celebration of youth development in the sport.
Matches will take place from November 4–6 at the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue, before moving to the Georgetown Club Courts on Camp Street for the final three days.
Spectators are encouraged to attend and cheer on players throughout the week, from emerging junior athletes to experienced competitors, including several parents who will join the action to offer juniors a broader and more diverse playing experience.
According to the GSA, event is pivotal to the growth of junior squash, helping young players build confidence, sharpen their skills, and gain invaluable experience from seasoned athletes.
Each match, the association noted, contributes to shaping the next generation of Guyana’s squash champions.
The GSA also extended heartfelt appreciation to Ramesh Sunich and Trophy Stall for their continued support of sport and community development. Their commitment, the association emphasized, plays a crucial role in strengthening Guyana’s squash community and empowering youth through sport.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday, November 9, with a BBQ fundraiser in support of youth squash programmes.
Fans and supporters are invited to enjoy great food, music, and the excitement of the championship matches as the week-long event comes to a close.
