Lil gyal prayers mek big man frighten!
(Kaieteur News) – One man put he three–year–old daughter to bed one night. She decide fuh pray. He stand up proud-proud, listening like a good father.
She seh, “God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma… goodbye Grandpa.”
De man nearly drop! He ask, “Baby girl, why yuh seh goodbye Grandpa?”
She seh calm-calm, “Ah don’t know Daddy… it just feel right.”
Next morning, who dead? Grandpa! De man seh is just coincidence — but he start side-eye he daughter lil bit.
Couple months later, same thing happen. “God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy… goodbye Grandma.”
Next day, Granny gone too! Dis time, de man start watching he daughter like if she is GPHC mortuary staff.
Few weeks after, de man brace heself again. He lil girl seh, “God bless Mommy… goodbye Daddy.”
De man whole life flash before he eyes. He didn’t sleep, didn’t eat, didn’t even bathe. He seh he ain’t dying in no bed. He gone wuk early de next morning and stay deh whole day. Twelve o’clock midnight come — he still alive!
He jump in he car, drive home fast-fast, smiling like he win Lotto. When he reach, he wife deh crying. She seh, “Yuh wouldn’t believe wha happen today — your boss drop dead in de middle of a meeting!”
