Kaieteur Sports – The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has selected four squads to participate in two trial matches on Wednesday and Thursday with a final game on Friday.
These trial matches are held to select the Berbice squad to participate in the Senior Inter County Cricket Competition scheduled for October.
The first game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, at the Rose Hall Community Centre Ground, East Canje from 09:30 hrs.
The teams are –Team A: Tomani Ceasar, Afrigal Kadir, Romario Ramdehol, Kwesi Mickle, Afraz Ali Budhoo, Jonathan Rampersaud, Seon Glasgow, Shamal Angel, Feaaz Baksh, Leon Cecil, Gaurav Ramesh, Romario Shepherd, Kelvin Omroa, Sylus Tyndall, Micah Amsterdam and Titus Webster
Team B – Adrian Sukwah, Rampersaud Ramnauth, Javed Karim, Nigel Deodat, Damian Cecil, Joemal Lafleur, Leon Swammy, Jeremy Sandia, Salim Khan, Reuben Latcha, Veersammy Permaul, Isai Thorne, Demetri Cameron, Raymond Vankenic, Devon Wharton and Malcolm Mickle.
The teams for the second trial match at the Albion Community Centre on Thursday are – Team C: Rampertab Ramnauth, Alex Algoo, Ricardo Ramdehol , Garfield Benjamin, Adrian Hetmyer , Sarwan, Chaitnarine, Sanjay Algoo , Kareem Mentore, Kevon Jawahir , Keith Simpson, Matthew Pottaya , Akash Heeralall , Gudakesh Motie, Clinton Pestano , Shelton Ramsay , Suresh Dhanai and Kevin Sinclair.
Team D – Leon Andrews, Junior Sinclair, Kevin Kisten, Zeynul Ramsammy, Shimron Hetmyer, Zameer Nazeer, Ravindra Budhoo, Deianath Persaud, Abdool Subhan, Steven Embrack, Trevon Stanislaus, Abdur Ramsammy, Omesh Matura, Davendra Latchman, Omari Arthur, Rishi Persaud and Naeem Khan
A third and final trial match is scheduled for Friday, September 26, at the Albion Community Centre comprising of the players selected from the two previous trial matches.
