Kaieteur News – Dem boys seh APNU come out loud and proud promising fuh restore honesty and decency to de country. But hear nah—if dishonesty and indecency was a sport, dem woulda win gold medal, silver medal, bronze, and still complain dat dem didn’t get a fair chance.
Is like a tief get ketch red-handed wid yuh flat screen TV in he trunk, and instead of seh sorry, he seh, “I was only transporting it fuh safekeeping.” Now he want open a security company.
Dem boys seh this sudden talk ’bout honesty from APNU sound like when a man who bruk yuh heart, mash up yuh house, tief yuh money, and still vex you call he out—then he come back wid flowers and promise to be a better man. But he never admit he wrong. He still seh he is de victim. Same thing APNU doing.
Remember 2020? Whole world watching. And till now, dem boys ain’t hear a proper apology. Not even a lil “we slip up.” Instead, is one big gaslighting campaign. According to APNU, dem ain’t rig de elections—de elections rig dem.
So now, dem boys wondering: how yuh gon restore honesty when yuh never even acknowledge yuh dishonest past? That like asking a mosquito fuh start a blood donation drive.
Dem boys seh Guyanese got short memory, but not that short. Is not amnesia we suffering from—is trauma. Every time dem open dem mouth and talk bout decency, people clutch dem wallets and change de channel.
Trust APNU? Da one hard. Is like trusting a man who seh he love yuh, but still texting he ex every night. Come clean fus. Own up. Say sorry. Den maybe—maybe—people gon start listening.
But fuh now, dem boys seh APNU talking bout honesty is like fireman setting fire and then offering to bring de water.
Talk half, leff half.
