Police said that Monday’s shooting took place around 08:30hrs. at Titus Street, Agricola. “Investigation so far revealed that Bollers left his home around 08:15 hrs this morning (Monday) to go and feed pigs,” police said in in a statement.
Shortly after his sister reportedly overheard people in the area saying that Bollers was shot. “She immediately left and went to their pig pens (at Lot 166) where she saw her brother lying motionless on the ground on his back, in front of a pig pen”, stated police.
Bollers was reportedly bleeding from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and back. He was subsequently rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body was examined and a wound was seen on his right shoulder, two to his abdomen, and one to his right elbow. Investigators have since recovered 9MM spent shells from the scene.
