Vendor on $75k bail for felonious wounding
Alisha Adams at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court
Kaieteur News – A 24-year-old vendor and mother of four, on Monday, was placed on $75,000 bail when she appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to answer a felonious wounding charge.
Alisha Adams of Lot 42 Waini Street, Meadowbrook Gardens, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty when appeared before Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore who read the charge to her.
It is alleged that on April 5, 2025 at Water Street, Stabroek, Adams unlawfully and maliciously wounded Jevenie Boutrim.
The vendor was represented by attorney Lawrence Harris.
The matter was adjourned to July 14, 2025.
