Kaieteur Sports- Supenaam All Stars retained their title on the final night of the Guinness Greatest of the Streets Zone championship in Essequibo on Sunday at the Anna Regina Tarmac.

Supenaam All Stars claim the grand prize after beating Shooters in the final of the Guinness Greatest of the Streets Zone championship in Essequibo.
The defending champions crushed Shooters 4-0 in the final. Devin Padmore and Nicholas McArthur both netted two goals for the champions as they cashed in on a top prize of $400,000 and a Trophy. Shooters received $250,000 and a Trophy, while Ballers took home $100,000 for third place in the tournament that attracted 16 teams.
All Stars had beaten Ballers 2-0 to advance to the final, while Shooters advanced with a 3-1 victory over Road Runners in their semi-final encounter.
In the quarter-finals, Ballers crushed Rising Stars 5-0, Shooters made light work of Henrietta Veterans 4-0, Road Runners got the better of Dominators in a penalty shootout and All Stars took care of Notorious 4-0.
Prizes were presented by Banks DIH Essequibo Branch Manager Lalbachan Narine, Brand Manager Jeoff Clement, Outdoor Staff Ravin Kissoonlall and Coordinator Damien Fortune.
The next leg of the championships will take place in Linden next month.

Berbice hosted the opening championship for 2025 three weeks ago in New Amsterdam.
