2025 GCA/Dave’s West Indian Imports First-Division 50-over competition…
Kaieteur Sports- Captain Tevin Imlach cracked a majestic ton as the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) to a mammoth 131-run victory over the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) as action in the Dave’s West Indian Imports/Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) First-Division 50-over competition this past weekend at Bourda.

DCC followed up this win after their encounter with the Malteenoes Sports Club where Jonathan Van Lange cracked 111 off 73 with 83 from Imlach to push DCC all the way to a winning 320-6 in 41 overs.
Recently recalled Guyana Harpy Eagles spinner Ashmeadashmead Nedd (4-28) and Ezekiel Wilson (4-37) shared 8 wickets which rocked Malteenoes for 112 all out Imlach also scored 83 in that match.
Imlach then continued his form as he got into shape ahead of the final rounds in this year’s CWI Regional 4-Day Championships, with a blistering 156 from 130 balls with 10 fours 4 sixes to lead his side to 352-8.
Former national youth player Joshua Persaud hit a quick-fire 53, while Van Lange (39), Eagles opener Raymond Perez (23) and Sachin Singh (23) chipped in nicely.
GCC spinners Devon Lord (3-64) and West Indies/Harpy Eagles all-rounder Kevin Sinclair (2-66), tried with the ball but their team the suffered during the batting phase as they fell for 221 in 49.3 overs, despite a battling 96 from Navindra Persaud and 38 from sinclair.
DCC veteran all-rounder Christopher Barnwell led with 3-42, while Nedd continued to get his arm ready for Regional action with 2-26 with support from the young Jaden Dowlin (2-28).
