Kaieteur Sports – On Monday July 3, 2023 the Lusignan Golf Club hosted a domino tournament. Team Legend was victorious as they managed to upset their other three opponents.
The other teams that participated were NARI, IN Time and Double Duce. In round one Legend took the lead, while NARI and Double Duce followed. Heading into the second round Legend maintained the lead, Double Duce trailed and IN Time showed a glimmer of hope.
Winning captain of Legend, Anand Mohan said, “On behalf of our team, we thank the LGC for participating in this domino tournament. We really appreciate it, we want to thank all the sponsors involved. We had an excellent and competitive time and we were able to walk away victorious. The tournament was tough but we fought our way and we did it and I couldn’t ask for more. We are looking forward to have more tournaments of this kind in the years to come.”
Team Legend was able to walk away with a whopping $90,000 and a trophy. They copped $45,000 each for being victorious in their two rounds.
