Kaieteur News – A 19-year-old boy was on Sunday morning killed in an accident after he crashed into a utility pole on Bush Lot Public Road, Essequibo Coast, Region Two. Dead is Mario Adams, of Lot 45 Lima Sands, Essequibo Coast.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) reported that the accident occurred around 1:15 hours.
Adams was the driver of motorcar PAD 5291, while the other occupants of the car were 32-year-old Troy Ross of Lot 52 La Belle Alliance, 21-year-old Dean Cortman of Lima Sands, and another male who fled the scene.
It was reported that the teen was proceeding north along the western driving lane at a fast rate. While in the process of negotiating a right bend, the driver lost control of the motorcar and collided head on to a utility pole which is located on the western side of the road.

Moreover, Ross was examined by a doctor and admitted as a patient at the hospital, with lacerations about the body, while Cortman was admitted for trauma to the head and lacerations about the body.
