Kaieteur News – A Cummings Lodge woman was on Friday robbed for a third time by motorcycle bandits.
The woman was reportedly robbed while walking along Sixth Street, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD). Information reaching Kaieteur News revealed that the robbery took place during the morning hours.
Reports are that two men on a motorcycle pulled up beside the woman and the pillion rider armed with a sharp object stuck her up and relieved her of her hand bag containing cash and her cell phone.
Kaieteur News understands that this is the third time the woman was robbed in the area. She has reported the matters to police but to date, none of the suspects have been caught.
The woman is afraid to walk in the area because she believes she will be targeted again.
