More needs to be done to develop sports in Guyana

Kaieteur News – The PPP/C Government is to be commended for developing sports in Linden whereby sports grounds are being developed to ICC (cricket) and FIFA (football) standards. However, better consultations with citizens are needed.
Guyanese need better sporting facilities in Guyana across the whole country. I am not talking just about cricket and football. Swimming pools and athletic tracks are also needed. It is a small step in the right direction to develop sports in Guyana.
