Dear Editor,
I am writing to formally bring to your attention a matter involving my current placement under the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) in Region 9.
I am a nurse with over 16 years of service, having faithfully contributed to the healthcare system in Region 9, throughout my career. I have completed my required clinical rotations at Sand Creek, St. Ignatius, and Yupukari Health Centre. However, I am now being assigned to a non-clinical department (Public Works), which is not aligned with my professional training, experience, or role as a healthcare provider.
This situation raises serious concerns about fairness, transparency, and the effective utilization of experienced healthcare personnel within the region. Despite raising the matter through the appropriate internal channels, there has been no satisfactory resolution. I believe this issue is of public interest, as it may point to broader administrative challenges affecting healthcare services and staff placement in Region 9.
I respectfully request that your publication consider investigating or highlighting this matter. I am willing to provide further details and any supporting documentation if required.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Ryan Reid
