Rivalry in the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Bounce Back tournament is expected to conclude tonight at the Leonora Track and Field Centre.
Play was expected to continue last night, the second night of action which saw Friday’s opening play producing a huge upset when Wales United needled Uitvlugt Warriors in the second match of the triple header.Pouderoyen FC made light work of Crane Rovers, brushing them aside, 4-1. Hitting the network for the winners were Lenroy Semple in the 4th minute, Chidi Matthews with a double in the 24th and 29th minutes and Devin Gaskin in the 43rd minute. Julius Griffith netted a consolation goal for Crane Rovers in the 67th minute.
The feature clash of the night saw the WDFA’s #1 side, Eagles FC of Stewartville trouncing Bell West, 6-0 on account of a hat-trick each from Nashawn Livan and Orlando Henry.
Games last night were Pouderoyen against Uitvlugt Warriors and Eagles versus Wales.
