…For all natural skin-care and hair products
“Young entrepreneurs play a key role in any economy by using their skills and bringing good ideas to the market.”

Kaieteur News – Despite being unemployed for some time, it was not the end of the road for Kesha Chesney. In fact, it was the gateway for a wonderful opportunity which placed her in the position she finds herself in today – as the owner of an organic skin-care/hair business.
“Being unemployed was one reason I decided to start my small business in order to support my family. I always had a passion for making natural products to help persons who have issues with their skin,” the mother of two shared with Kaieteur News.
It was this passion that drove her to launch her very own business venture called ‘Go Organic by Kesha’, which she introduced on April 14 of this year.
During that time, two of her products – turmeric and lemon body scrub, and avocado and banana hair mask – were the first she introduced. Since then, people became very interested in the products and what more she had to offer.
From that period on, the support for her business has been nothing but great, she intimated. “I’m getting support from my family, friends and my social media platform, where persons are purchasing the products and loving it and sending good reviews about the products and services they are getting,” the 29-year-old pointed out.
When asked about the future goals for her business, Chesney said she hopes to one day own a store where consumers can have an even more wide variety of products to choose from. Also, she is hoping to have her organic products be distributed to all stores and supermarket countrywide and to have her products recognised as one of the best coming out of Guyana in a few years from now.
But delving into the business arena was not without challenges for Chesney. A notable challenge that she faced was during the early stages of her business. At the time our featured young entrepreneur confessed, she was not getting persons to purchase her products. But because she was committed to pursuing her passion, she overcame that by focusing on promoting her items. Eventually, sales started to pick up and for that, she is grateful to her family and friends who helped along the way.
Chesney is one of the entrepreneurs who believes that young men and women in the business arena can really help to make a meaningful impact in the economy, with the many ideas they introduce.
“Young entrepreneurs play a key role in any economy by using their skills and bringing good ideas to the market,” she said.
To this end, she thinks that by providing educational programmes to entrepreneurs, advertising their products and assisting them with loans, can truly help them in a great way.
Persons interested in an organic skin care or hair product can contact Chesney on telephone number (592) 696-9636 or message her on Facebook @Go Organic by Kesha.
