Constable Aaron Rodrigues, 21, of Lot 4 Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown made his appearance on Monday at the Diamond Magistrate Court 2 before Magistrate Judy Latchman, and was placed on bail following the reading of his three charges.
Rodrigues was charged for causing death by dangerous driving, unlicensed driving and breach of insurance. He pleaded not guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving, and guilty to the two remaining charges.

The accident, which took place Saturday last, on the Mocha Access road, resulted in the death of Euclin Joseph, 49, of Lot 270 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
According to the police, Rodrigues was driving motorcar PSS 7652 at a fast rate of speed along the East Bank Public Road, when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a utility pole.
Joseph died as a result of the collision, while the other three occupants of the vehicle received injuries to their bodies.
