Construction worker nabbed with ganja
The ziploc bags containing the suspected marijuana
Kaieteur News – Police ranks on Thursday nabbed a 25-year-old construction worker of Betsy Ground, East Canje Berbice, Region Six with 32 grams suspected cannabis.
According to a police, the man was searched by the ranks at around 22:45hrs in the vicinity of Betsy Ground.
Investigators said that they were prompted to search him because he was walking along a road, acting in a suspicious manner.
In his possession, they found a quantity of ziploc bags containing the drugs. He was arrested, taken into to police custody where he is currently being processed for court.
