Top Linden clubs versus Georgetown double header at MSC Hard Court
It’s a Linden versus Georgetown basketball affair this evening when two of Georgetown’s leading clubs invade the mining town of Linden to take on their Linden counterparts in what should be a grand occasion to raise funds for baby Kaavia Couchman whose father is one of Victory Valley Royals best players ever, shooting guard Stephen Couchman who has to go overseas for medical intervention.
The venue of the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court should be buzzing from 18.30hrs when the first game brings together Amelia’s Ward Jets against Ravens. That game will be followed by the Victory Valley Royals versus Kobras game from 21.00hrs.
Both games should be hotly contested yet entertaining since basketball clubs are hungry to go at each other and Linden clubs would look to gain victories against their Georgetown counterparts knowing they are playing on home soil.
More importantly the matches are intended to help raise much need funds that will ensure baby Kaavia Couchman gets the medical attention that is necessary at this time.
