The family members of 23-year-old Kendrick Newtown of South Ruimveldt Gardens, are in disbelief after he was diagnosed with memory loss hours after he was involved in a vehicular accident on Regent Street.
Last evening, around 21:30hrs, Mr. Newton was walking west along Regent Street when a car going in the opposite direction collided with him and knocked him unconscious.
In an interview, the victim’s wife stated that upon visiting her husband at the medical facility, he was unable to identify any of his family members.
“When I went to the hospital to visit he, Ken don’t remember nobody. He tell me plain that he don’t know me”.
After the accident, the man was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he remains under observation.
The matter is being investigated.
