Who is responsible for placing and removing the No Entry barricade (road block) across the road at high bridge La Pentience Market Georgetown in the vicinity of Guyana National Printers Ltd? The law stipulates that because of a market place it is necessary for a No Entry barricade and must be placed by the Police between 6am – 6pm on a daily basis from southbound traffic, but there is a beer garden directly at the corner and long after the road is still close and the patrons of the beer garden are in full swing to the music and dance, that encumbered the parapet and road. It appears that the proprietors have control over the police at Ruimveldt Police Station.
I am requesting the traffic chief to treat this matter with professionalism.
Yours Faithfully,
Parmanand Ram
