Cycling action set for National Park on Saturday
Cycling action is expected to return to the National Park on Saturday with another Hassan Mohammed-organized 11-stage programme pedaling off from 09.00hrs.
The event is sponsored by Banks DIH and for the first time will be run under the Trisket Biscuits Midwest cookies and tea biscuit brands.
The featured event will be the 35-lap featured school boys and invitational race where riders such as Andrew Hicks, Michael Anthony, Jamaul John, Briton John, Alanzo Ambrose, Deeraj Garbaran, Paul De Nobrega, Christopher Griffith, Marcus Kieler, Christopher Cornelius, Andre Green, Romello Crawford and others will take part.
The veterans category is expected to be keenly contested with the likes of Paul Choo-wee-nam, Leer Nunes, Jaikaran Sukhai, Warren McKay, Ian Jackson and Junior Niles vying for supremacy.
