Lincoln Lewis must be mad!
DEAR EDITOR,
I read with awe a letter in Stabroek News of April 29 written by Lincoln Lewis about Abdul Kadir. I do not know him but would like to meet him to check his sanity. He can contact me at depoolaw@hotmail.com
Kadir was a human being and deserves respect! GOD rest his soul. But does the Parliament of Guyana need to condone terrorism? This man planned an act of terrorism that would have killed countless innocent human beings. He was not just accused but found guilty in a court of law, not a kangaroo court but a court where he was afforded due process with the assistance of competent counsel at the expense of the American People, the very people he plotted to kill!! Does he deserve recognition by Guyana’s highest law making body for his dastardly acts?
I value freedom of the press and freedom of speech but how does Stabroek News dare publish the dribble written by Lewis?
