The long standing and highly successful relationship between beverage giants Ansa Mcal and the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club was renewed on Tuesday last at the Company’s head office. The Company and the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, MS have enjoyed a relationship for over 20 years. The package for 2019 was recently agreed to by the Company’s Managing Director Troy Cadogan and the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster.
Foster, disclosed that in 2019 the Company would be co-sponsoring the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, MS Annual Award Ceremony, Annual Review Magazine, Tribute to Head Teacher, Television Programme and Ansa Mcal Award of Excellence. The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Secretary/CEO noted that over the years, Ansa Mcal has been of the main reasons why the Club has been so successful; and now is widely regarded as Guyana’s top youth and sports organisation.
Under the Tribute to Head Teacher Programme, the Club would honour twelve outstanding Head Teachers on World Teachers’ Day 5th October, 2019, while Ansa Mcal would also provide hampers, medals and trophies for the Club’s 29th Annual Award Ceremony scheduled for the 12th May, 2019. A total of eighty Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Members, Medical Personnel, Teachers and Students along with the Law Enforcement Officers would be honoured.
Ansa Mcal has also renewed their sponsorship of the Club’s Award of Excellence Programme. Under the programme, the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club honours five outstanding Berbicians for services beyond the call of duties in the fields of Health, Sports, Culture, Community Development and Education. The Club’s 2019 Annual Review Magazine would be published in June, 2019.
Asst Secretary/CEO Simon Naidu also disclosed that the Company also assisted the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club on numerous other occasions when a formal request is made for sponsorship of fundraising events and other events such as Christmas Village, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and the massive Christmas Charity Programme that is organised by the ten cricket teams.
Naidu committed his Club to upholding the high standard it has set in the past to continue to work hard every day to make positive differences in the lives of youths, the elderly and less fortunate. Cadogan in brief remarks hailed the relationship between the two organisations and stated that Ansa Mcal is very pleased to support the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports as it has been a good partner in community development.
