Things are quiet on the political front because the two leaders of the major political parties are to meet. Until then, supporters would be going about their business with one eye on the elections. Yet in every group there is one irresponsible person, and such a person would surface during a drinking session.
The result would be a fight that would send one of the combatants to the hospital with severe injuries. A friendship would end.

Try as one might, the roads remain dangerous. There are too many vehicles and even more impatient people. A pedestrian would be the country’s next road fatality for the year.

The country would come alive with news that a group of tricksters is milking motorists, halting traffic in the process. Amazingly, the traffic police are allowing this to happen during peak hour traffic. At the same time there is no investigation when there should be one.
Such is the life in Guyana.
