The final two matches in the round-of-16 of this year’s Guyana Football Federation / Stag Super 16 championship will be contested at the Leonora Track and Field Facility from 17:00hrs.
Upper Demerara’s Milerock will tangle with West Demerara’s Eagles FC of Stewartville with the feature attraction at 19:00hrs bringing together Den Amstel and City side, Santos.
Last evening at the Golden Grove Ground, Friday night’s double header was not contested due to the fact that the Lights provider was not able to deliver all four lights on time. Three sets of construction lights were at the venue but the fourth one did not arrive until 20:40hrs.
The first match was scheduled to kick off at 18:30 hours between Ann’s Grove United and Soesdyke Falcons with the main event between Victoria Kings and Buxton Stars. These matches were scheduled to be played last night at the same venue with additional lights.
