Dear Editor,
I thank you for allowing me a space in your very well read newspaper.
It is a fact that we sometimes dwell on the negatives without highlighting the many strides in our country.
As a resident and businessman of the Grove/Diamond community, on the East Bank Demerara, I have had to deal with the Neighbourhood Democratic Council ever so often.
My engagements involved meeting with officials of the NDC.
Editor, in my dealings with Mr. Richard Mohabir, the Overseer, has been very respectful, and strikes me as a hardworking man whose professionalism should be emulated.
This is even more commendable, given the numerous examples of public corruption in our country of late.
Mr. Mohabir is a rare example of a public official who is focused in conducting his responsibilities in accordance with his mandate.
