De more dem boys try to be nice is de more people does put things in front of dem to mek dem realize that certain things don’t change like that. Is like if a man is a thief and he go to jail. While he in custody he always promise to be good and to never do de bad thing again.
Is de same thing wid children. When you ketch dem doing something wrang and you pick up de whip and dance dem, dem does mek all kind of promise.
But as soon as de licks cool down or as soon as de thief come out of jail is back to de same old story. That is why dem boys always seh that when dog accustom to suck egg it can’t done.
Dem boys wasn’t happy wid wha Exxon do and wha it was doing in Guyana. Dem boys talk and dem get cuss. People who see two dollar suddenly get vex wid dem boys. Some of Soulja Bai call dem boys vulture and accuse dem of wanting to block national development.
Dem boys wake up yesterday and dem find out that de same Exxon robbing dem Australians. Everybody know Australia is a rich country and de people got more knowledge of oil than we in this country. Besides, dem Australians look like de people who own Exxon.
De oil company declare that it mek tremendous profit but dem boys didn’t know that it was robbing dem Australians. It decide to cut de people pay by thirty per cent; then it tell de workers that dem got to lef dem wife fuh months at a time. Which mean that Exxon was cutting down on transportation cost.
Just like Guyana, Exxon get $117 billion in tax concession but it don’t pay that in wages and salaries. Well dem boys hear de Australians strike and is one year now since dem strike. De union and everybody vex.
Dem boys was just coming to believe that Exxon not so bad but now this thing happen is back to square one. And dem boys ain’t talking bout de mall in Mississauga.
Talk half and remember a leopard don’t lose its stripe.
