Dear Editor,
Generally, I merely glimpse at any news and reports wherein the Honourable Bishop Edghill is mentioned as I have no admiration of him, not because of his PPP affiliation but because he rarely comes across as fitting a ‘man of the cloth’ in my humble opinion.
I find it unacceptable that an individual of his stature would mix and curl up with a political party whose members have done so many wrongs barefacedly e.g. Rohee firing black embassy employees without cause, Brassington and company financially missing in action and so on.
Plus his odd behaviour in Parliament not so long ago which was very much not in keeping for a man of the cloth.
So moving along in my browsing, I saw the name of my blessed friend Joseph Fisher as I scanned the letters and wondered what happened that my friend’s name was referenced.
Well, well, I was surprised that of all the people who should take umbrage at my friend is Bishop Juan A. Edghill. Tut..tut.
I can vouch for my friend Bishop Joseph G. Fisher and so I rise to his defence.
That which Fisher wrote and mentioned in his letter is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Bishop Fisher is an outstanding man of the cloth and is most true to his faith. He would not blemish himself with any inexactitude and the fact that he did write that letter to the editor was clearly his angst at “the over the top posturing, of my brother in Christ.”
I agree with Bishop Fisher.
The other matter that aroused my interest is the nationality of Bishop Juan A. Edghill. Is he a Venezuelan and if so, is he allowed to sit in Parliament?
Perhaps the Editor could add a comment on this.
Take it from me, Carl Veecock, that what my friend Bishop Joseph G. Fisher wrote, is gospel.
Now watch yuself Edgy, Peter might have some questions fuh yuh when yuh arrive at de Pearly Gates!!
