The Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association (GGDMA) recently made a tangible contribution to the Bartica Development Business Association (BDBA) which is the organising body for the Bartica Easter Regatta which will run from March 17 to April 2, next.
GGDMA representative Avalon Jagnandan recently handed over his entity’s contribution to member of the BDBA, Ramcharran Boodhoo who expressed the body’s gratitude to Jagnandan for their contribution.
Boodhoo further stated that the contribution will go a long way towards offsetting expenses related with the hosting of the Easter spectacle which will serve up a diverse sports programme and social activities including the much anticipated Pageant which will see nine beautiful and intelligent young ladies vying for the crown of Miss Bartica Easter Regatta.
The Top Model Segment is set for this Sunday at the Aruwai Resort from 13:00hrs. Boodhoo said the organising committee is pulling out all the stops to make this year’s activities the best ever and is encouraging other corporate entities to get on board and be part of what is anticipated to me memorable events.
Jagnandan further noted that his entity has been a close supporter of the Bartica Easter Regatta all through the years and sees the Easter spectacle as an integral part of the development of Bartica. HE wished the organizers every success.
