Kaieteur Sports – The Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) once again takes the opportunity to say a big thank you to all patrons and sponsors that supported the club’s recently concluded Phagwah Horse Race meet.
The event was a big success. The Club would like send their appreciation to the Metro Stationary and Office Supplies, Mr Ramesh Sunich of the Trophy Stall, Mrs. Chan Kennard and Family, New Building Society, Sylvie’s Variety Store, Torginol Paint, Annirude Ramcharitar, David Sawh, Orson Drepaul, the Majeed Family, Spread Business Enterprise, Anil Kishun, Peter Parsatoon, R Singh and Sons, GoodWood Racing Service, Michelle Matheson and Rohan Oudit among others.
The club would also like to thank the Guyana Police Force, the club’s directors, executive and workers that worked assiduously to make the day’s meet the success it was.
The KMTC is one of the premiere horse racing venues in the country and is synonymous with staging top-notch horse race meets. The annual Phagwah horse race meet was well organised and incident free and featured a bumper crowd that witnessed the action. (Samuel Whyte)
